THE COMPANY

Macholl & Specht GmbH was founded in October 1965 by the shipbrokers Horst J. Macholl and Helmut W. Specht in Hamburg, and is, since 2004, being led by Angelika Nieder, daughter of the co-founder Helmut Specht.

The careful handling of information and honest advice as well as the follow up on all contracts (post fixing) is an indispensable part of our work.

Cargo Ships

As Sale and Purchase Brokers we are involved with several types of cargo ships, mainly minibulkers/coasters.

OFFSHORE VESSELS

Since 2003 we engage ourselves in the brokerage of vessels for the offshore wind industry.
Here we work mostly with Passenger/Crew Transfer Vessels.

NEWBUILDINGS

Since 1977 we support our clients in yard selection as well as contract negotiations and have brokered numerous newbuilding contracts for ships such as

Chartering

Since the early days of our company chartering has been a main field of activities.
